As always, there was no Malo-lactic fermentation and no new oak used in the aging of the wine. It was barrel fermented, but in 100% neutral oak, and the lees were stirred very aggressively, which accounts for the wines incredible muscle in the glass.

The vintage exhibits a gorgeous, clear golden color and is defined by an explosion of ripe citrus and floral tones with an oily texture and dense weight that is balanced by incredibly structured acidity. The 2008 displays a lot more tropical fruit flavors than its predecessors and with its wonderfully long finish this wine screams for a good food pairing. Enjoy!
