2007 Waugh Cellars Pinot Noir, Indindoli Vineyard, Russian River

If you are making wine by the numbers, nothing could be more perfect than the 2007 vintage of our Pinot Noir. It was a great year for grape growing and I’ve never seen every vineyard have such huge color, massive flavor and big chewy tannin.  Have such

As you open the bottle you will smell that rich raspberry and strawberry nose, indicative of Indindoli Pinot Noir. You will also take in the plush vanilla and toasty notes from the new French Oak we aged this wine in. In previous vintages, due to the elegant nature of the wine, we were always careful with the barrels we used.  But 2007 was definitely a vintage worthy and capable of aging in new oak, without overwhelming the delicacy of the fruit.

This wine is going to last well over a decade and Given its structure, do not be afraid of pairing this with just about anything you would think about putting on your table.
